On June 1, 2025, the Solemnity of the Ascension of the Lord, Cl. Anthony Joseph M. Pangilinan, SSP, Cl. Enrique Geremia Francis C. Teodoro, SSP, and Cl. John Ervin Anthony S. Valerio, SSP professed their first religious vows at Our Lady of Sorrows Parish in Pasay City, administered by the Society of St. Paul in the Philippines.

Fr. Mario Sobrejuanite, SSP, Provincial Superior of the Philippines-Australia Province, presided at the Eucharistic celebration and received the vows. In his homily, he reflected on the Ascension as “an anticipation of a sure destiny,” emphasizing that Jesus, in ascending, “passes the baton” to His disciples to proclaim the Good News to all creation. He affirmed the commitment of the newly professed, noting how they have taken this mission seriously through their self-offering.

A message from the Superior General, Fr. Domenico Soliman, SSP, was read by Fr. Khris Emmanuel Llacer, SSP, Master of the Juniors. The message called the neo-professed to be “artisans of communion and evangelization” and to let the Word of God renew their mindset in a rapidly evolving culture of communication.

Cl. Pangilinan, speaking on behalf of his companions, expressed gratitude for God’s grace and affirmed their “yes” to the Pauline vocation. He acknowledged the people who have been instruments of God’s love in their journey and concluded with the community’s shared commitment to keep growing in faith and mission.

The celebration concluded with an agape meal with family, friends, and members of the Pauline Family.

The day before, on May 31—the Feast of the Visitation of the Blessed Virgin Mary—ten temporarily professed brothers of the Province renewed their religious vows. With the first profession of Cl. Pangilinan, Cl. Teodoro, and Cl. Valerio, the juniorate  community now grows to thirteen, including one brother who will renew his vows at a later date. Together, they continue the journey of formation, fraternity, and mission in the Pauline way.
